Options Further Enhance Hyundai HL900 Series Loaders
As we near year’s end, it’s not too early to begin plotting your fleet strategy for the 2019 work season. Perhaps a new wheel loader from Hyundai’s HL900 line would be a good addition to beef up productivity or allow you to take on more jobs. As of this year, Hyundai has added a couple of new options to their HL900 series loaders that can make your jobsites safer and make the work go faster.
360o visibility and birds-eye view, too
Hyundai’s All-Around View Monitoring (AAVM) system is unique in the industry – the only one that enables operators to literally see their surroundings all the way around their machine from inside the cab. This exclusive video system uses four cameras, mounted on the front, the back, and each side mirror. Operators can choose from 10 different 3D or 2D views, including the birds’-eye perspective, with the push of a button and see the picture on the dashboard’s large color touchscreen monitor.
The AAVM system is integrated with Hyundai’s Intelligent Moving Object Detection (IMOD) technology. This system is designed to detect movement (or an object) within 23 feet of the wheel loader. (Alternatively, it can be set to detect within a perimeter of just 6.5 feet.) Movement or an object that crosses the perimeter sets off a redundant warning system that produces an audible alarm and also displays flashing arrows on the touchscreen.
Prior to this year, the AAVM/IMOD technology was available only on Hyundai’s HX series excavators. Now buyers can add it as a factory-installed option on any of the wheel loaders in the HL900 series. Because this is the only system that offers 360o jobsite visibility, Hyundai believes AAVM-equipped wheel loaders are the safest on the market today.
Versatile optional quick coupler
Quick couplers not only speed attachment changes on the jobsite, they are much safer for operators. This year Hyundai introduced a new optional quick coupler for their models with Z-bar linkage. It is ISO 23727 compliant and is designed to work with many different types of commonly-used construction and industrial attachments. If you purchase the option for a new Hyundai wheel loader, the quick coupler will be covered by the OEM’s three-year-3,000-hour warranty.
Could there be a new HL900 wheel loader in your future?
Reliable productivity is a must if you expect jobs to be profitable. But, especially on construction and industrial worksites, safety is always your #1 concern. An HL900 wheel loader equipped with the AAVM/IMOD and quick coupler options could help boost your competitiveness as well as your peace of mind in 2019.
