Coming Soon: All-New Freightliner 122SD
It won’t be long, now. Freightliner says their next-generation Coronado 122SD should be available by late August. The company unveiled a prototype at this spring’s Mid-America Trucking Show, and already it’s receiving acclaim as the new cornerstone of Freightliner’s SD line of severe duty vocational trucks.
The 122SD can be configured to meet the specifications you need for virtually any of the toughest possible applications, including:
- Heavy or oversize hauling
- Logging
- Oil and gas field services
- Crane
- Dump
- Concrete mixing
- Towing and recovery
- Vocational on-highway jobs
The 122SD gives you everything you could want. And no wonder. It was not only designed with customers in mind, it was designed with the help of owners and operators like you. To be sure they got it right, Freightliner hosted a customer forum during the product development phase, to get feedback about the SD. Then, of course, they subjected proposed models to the most rigorous computer-generated and physical tests.
The result? You get the specs you need. Freightliner knows the average day for your trucks is demanding. And some days are downright punishing. They also know that every heavy-duty application is a little different. So they have your back, giving you plenty of choices to outfit your truck exactly the way you need.
